Jennifer is a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher. While studying to become a professional in dance Jennifer's choreographic work every year was chosen to be showcased at each show that the college establishments had. After successfully completing her training and gaining her BA Honours Degree from the Scottish School of Contemporary Dance (The Space) she has been performing across the UK as well as choreographing and touring work. Jennifer Scott Dance Company have  performed in venues and festivals across the UK including Theatre Royal Glasgow, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Innovations Festival Chester, Circulate and supporting company Fertile Ground, Newcastle. Jennifer also works within the community teaching children ages 2-17 as well as adults. She regularly teaches and choreographs contemporary work for 8-18 years and one recent piece that was showcased in Theatre Royal Glasgow along with her professional work has resulted in receiving funding from The Peter Darrell Trust to make new work for 2018.

Jennifer likes to make work that is thought provoking and quite often political, challenging the views portrayed in the media. Her work with communities invites participants to talk about the issues that engage them whether they be political, social or personal.

Working with others and learning from them is something Jennifer welcomes with open arms, she is interested in different artists creative views and processes and will always happily work with other artists from different disciplines.

Jennifer is very passionate about teaching dance and passing on all she is learning through her experiences. She understands that parents want a safe and friendly learning environment for their child where they can learn dance skills, build their confidence and develop creativity but most of all have fun! Jennifer teaches a variety of styles and offers a fun and friendly environment to learn in.
